Fourth Class : Lesson 3

Today, We will learn about self introduction. Actually last week, we had already learn about it but Sensei want us to revise what we had learn and add some more information.

Starting like this,
こにちわ　はいめまっして。ナタシャです。マラッカ　からきました。けいざい　がくぶの がくせえです。わたしわ　さねんさいです。どおぞ　よろしく　おねがいします。

Konichiwa, Hajimematshite, Natasha Desu. Marakka Kara Kimashita. Keizai Gakubu no Gakusee desu. Watashi wa sanensei desu. Doozo yoroshiku onegai　shimasu.

It means :
Hello, Nice to meet you. I am Natasha. I live in Malacca. I study at Faculty of Economy and Muamalat. Now, I am in a third year. Please take care of me.

Sometime you can use short form when u ask someone. For example ; like doozo yoroshiku onegai　shimasu can be simplify become Doozo yoroshiku but this is only use for boy girl are not allowed. this is in  Japanese culture.

Next, How to ask without being rude ?

Name : おなまえ　は？　Onamae　wa ?
             What is your name ?

Country : おくに　は？ Okuni wa ?
                Which country do you live ?
　
Occupation : おしごと　は？　Oshigoto wa ?
                     What is your job ?

When there is a new finding you say "desune" it means Oh really.

After that we learn about country and language

Country  :くに　kuni        Language : ご　go
　
If you want to say I am Malaysian in Japanese is :  マレシア　ジンデス　"Mareshia Jin Desu".

There are some countries that I know in Japanese:

 

  1. Germany - ドイツ　Doitsu



2. China - チュウゴク　Chuugoku


　
3. France - フランス　Furansu


4. United Kingdom - イギリス　Igirisu



5. Egypt - エジプト　Ejiputo

In addition, To ask people do you expect in that language or not you can ask like this :

1. Question : フランス　ご　できまｓか？　Furansu go dekimaska ?
　　　　　 Can you understand France language ?
    Answer :  いいえ　できません。Iee Dekimasen.　　　　
　　　　　Sorry. I cannot understand

2. Question : マレ　ご　できまｓか？　Marre go dekimaska ?
                     Can you understand Malay Language ?
    Answer :  はい。いません。　Hai. Imasen
　　　　　Yes. I can understand.

3. Question : アラビア　ご　できまｓか？ Arabia go dekimaska ?
                     Can you understand Arabic language ?
    Answer : はい。べんきょおちゅうです。Hai. Benkyoo-chuu desu.
                    Yes. I am still learning it.

4. Question : ニホン　ご　できまｓか？ Nihon go dekimaska ?
                     Can you understand Japanese Language ?
   Answer : はい。すこしできます。Hai. Sukoshi Dekimasu.
                  Yes. A little bit.
